Friends Don't Let Friends Drink Bad Wine.

After three unsuccessful rebrands, The Wine Community approached Node Studio, a Melbourne-based branding studio, seeking a complete brand reset grounded in strategy, intention and consistency. While previous rebranding efforts introduced new visuals, they failed to create a cohesive identity or build a meaningful connection with their audience. What was missing wasn’t design alone, but a considered brand system capable of supporting long-term growth.

Our branding approach began by returning to the core of The Wine Community. Through a strategic discovery process, we identified the brand’s key values—education, quality, heritage and approachability—and used them to inform every aspect of the rebrand. Working closely with the team, we developed an identity that honours their foundations while clearly defining who they are today and where they’re heading.

The objective was to position The Wine Community as a platform for connection and discovery. The new brand balances the warmth and intimacy of European wine culture with a modern, contemporary digital presence. The resulting brand system includes a distinctive logo, refined visual identity, and a clear messaging framework designed to strengthen recognition, consistency and emotional connection.

Designed to perform across all touchpoints, the refreshed brand translates seamlessly from packaging and e-commerce to social media and digital activations. A welcoming, educational tone of voice ensures the brand speaks confidently to both emerging wine drinkers and seasoned enthusiasts.

Now positioned as more than a retailer, The Wine Community has evolved into a community-led, curated wine brand. The new identity reflects clarity, confidence and purpose—providing a strong foundation for future growth and reinforcing the brand’s place within Australia’s evolving wine culture.
